People who have been to our Florida Conferences have called them “transformative, empowering and inspiring.”
Florida has many unique regions, but we all share common concerns
due to the climate impacts already manifesting along our coasts, farmlands, and cities.
“Climate Action 2018”
is an opportunity for Floridians to bring our energies together for a clean energy future.
Our program will include keynote speakers as well as afternoon workshops and trainings.
Regular Registration (Feb. 11-24): $45 (including lunch)
Students: $15 (including lunch)
High School Students are free.

Please enter the offer code CHECK then click the green check mark. Complete your online registration and send your check to: Citizens’ Climate Education, 1330 Orange Ave, #309, Coronado, CA 92118. In the memo portion of the check, please write: “2018 Florida State Conference.”

You can make an additional donation when you register. This will go toward helping keep our registration fees low and to provide student rates. Your additional donation is tax-deductible.
Conference Materials - Making for a Sustainable Conference
In an effort to reduce paper, all event materials will be available for download or to access online at the event.
If you plan to bring a laptop or a tablet, please download the conference materials in advance.
If you need a printed version of the materials, please consider printing them at home, as only a limited number of printed copies will be available at the venue.
There will be light vegan breakfast offerings in the morning (until 8:40 a.m), beverages during the day, a vegan lunch, and a dessert in the afternoon.

USF is nearest to the Tampa International Airport
If you plan to drive, please consider coordinating a carpool with those in your local area.
Parking is free and in front of the Patel College building

Recommendation: It may not be a good idea to go for some of "the least expensive places" around USF, as there are some places where you probably would not enjoy staying.
So, a word to the wise, choose either of the above selections,
or if you choose something else, you may be wise to double-check the reviews!)

Minors (under 18) Registration: If you are under the age of 18, or are registering for someone under 18, a signed permission slip must be completed to attend the conference.
Please email Florida@citizensclimatelobby.org for a permission slip.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or chaperone (who must also be registered for the conference). Permission slips can be brought to the Conference.
