Who?
Everyone is welcome, whether it's your first CCL experience or you're an experienced volunteer. You are welcome no matter where you're from.

When?

The program is scheduled for Saturday February 18th from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday February 19th from 9:00a to TBD (between noon and 3p).  Please plan to come by early in the morning, as the program will start promptly at 9:00am.

Check-in and on-site registration begins on Saturday at 8:30am at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley.  Coffee and morning social time will take place both mornings from 8:30am to 9:00am.

There will be a keynote speaker on Saturday from 7pm to 8pm.

Why?
To network with fellow CCL volunteers while you develop your lobbying
and advocacy skills. In Mark Reynolds’ words, “Our advanced lobbying training focuses on the human element of working with people: creating opportunities from obstacles, listening, building rapport, and not being limited by one’s predisposed view of other people or their predisposed view of you.” That kind of training will prove valuable in all aspects of your life…not just in your work with CCL.

Where?

Ed Roberts Campus at 3075 Adeline Street in Berkeley, CA - directly adjacent to the Ashby BART station.

How much?

The conference fee is $60.  Student and under 25 years old is $20.

If you would like to register by check, please use the promo code "check" and mail your payment to: Citizens Climate Lobby 1330 Orange Ave #309, Coronado, CA 92118

If the cost is a problem for you, we have scholarships available. To apply, contact Tasha at california-rc@citizensclimatelobby.org

Please help others attend the conference by making an additional donation that will go to low fees and our scholarship fund.  You can do so above in the registration section.

Lodging

For those who need it, we will work to find lodging accomodations in the homes of local CCL volunteers.  If you live nearby and can offer someone a place to stay, please let us know.

For housing offers and requests, please contact Edgar Ross <edgarross360@yahoo.com> or at 831-440-9251 (be sure to leave a call-back number in the message).  When emailing, please write "NCRC" at the begining of the subject line.  Please inclue name, phone, and where you are coming from (for requests) or where you are offering a room (for offers).  Be specific with your needs or what you can offer (number of people, number of beds, pets/allergies, etc).

Meals
We will provide coffee and tea with light breakfast snacks on Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as lunch both days.  We will have a social hour and pizza dinner at the end of the program on Saturday evening (followed by a keynote speaker).  Please feel free to bring a beverage to share.  If you have dietary restrictions, please let Tasha know at california-rc@citizensclimatelobby.org
