Dear Friends, 

After four years volunteering with this tremendous family of committed, engaged citizens, known as Citizens Climate Lobby all collaborating to ensure a safe, secure climate future, through genuine democratic process, I now have the great privilege to be working full-time as Global Strategy Director for Citizens Climate Education Corp. I don't think it would be possible to find a more rewarding and inspired group of people to work with on a day to day basis. 

The organization has doubled in size every year for the last five years. There were fewer than 15 local chapters, when I first joined, and as we enter 2015, we now cover 412 out of 435 Congressional Districts, with 220 groups, spread out over 5 continents. Our Pathway to Paris project is now working to facilitate direct citizen engagement with the global policy process, to ensure the same smart, transparent, effective type of climate solution we promote for the US and other nations. 

The volunteers we work with have to transcend the temptations of cynicism and commit to active, constructive engagement. They do hard, good work, in the right way. Our nonpartisan approach means skeptical members of Congress have someone they can talk to about their doubts, and have open, serious conversations about the best option for tackling climate change in a way that meets their standards and also builds real value for families and communities.
