8th Annual Citizens’ Climate
International Conference & Lobby Day
Join us in Washington this summer for the 8th Annual Citizens’ Climate Lobby/Citizens’ Climate Education International Conference & Lobby Day. We had more than 900 volunteers attend our last conference and lobbied 502 congressional offices during the lobby day. There will be many more this year, doing what we do best: having conversations that lead to the breakthroughs necessary to enact effective climate solutions.
During the Conference June 11-12th, you’ll hear from inspiring speakers and receive training to be game-changing communicators on this issue. The tipping point for the political will to price carbon is getting closer. In 2016 we saw the growth of Representatives on the Gibson Resolution and the formation and rapid growth of the House Bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus thanks to the diligent efforts of our volunteers. Will this be the year we reach that tipping point? Be part of the power surge in D.C. for our Lobby Day on June 13th to find out.
The Conference begins at 9am on Sunday morning, June 11th with welcoming remarks and then three tracks of training: a session for Group Leaders and Liaisons; training for new members (through our Climate Advocate Training); and then skills development workshops for everyone in between! New this year, attendees will have the option to check in at registration the afternoon of Saturday, June 10th.
